woah! It's been weeks since I blogged. Last week had a DBEN chalet with ... DBEN! YAY ~ The great thing about joining DBEN in 2007 is that we do not branch out to specialize in anything in our 3 years in SP. So that means, we get to stay in the same class ! =D ... ... But that also means, we get to stay in the same class! D= . Starting 2008, DBEN's year twos need to choose their routes under the revised course. WE ARE THE LAST OF OUR KIND!!
Anyways, the bulk of us met in Pasir Ris MRT by... 4PM. Then we took the shuttle bus(meant for Downtown East Chalet) to Aloha Loyang. HAHAHA! The uncle horned at us for bluffing his feelings... lol.
Kill time by playing card games. More than 4 decks of Poker Cards and a Barbie™ UNO deck were brought.
So by the time we all settled down at our bungalow and rested enough, it's already time for BBQ! Jonathan's side was still at Tampines Mall to.. shop I think? But the wire mesh was still with them, and we, over here at the chalet already started the fire.

I think they just want to see something burn lah. An hour later, one and a half bags of charcoal were used and still the wire mesh wasn't here.
Then Radz received a call saying Jonathan's lorry met with an accident(yes he was driving). We were all shocked .. .. =O
.
.
.
.
Menwhile, the girls + Khairi were preparing the foodstuffs in the kitchen (WE HAVE A KITCHEN?!)

The mix of the syrup was absolutely PERFECT! Thanks Hui Shan.
I'd prefer pineapple rice... but o well~
Jonathan, Tin Fang, Alex and Michael finally arrived! YAY, they escaped the accident and we can finally start BBQ-ing. The chefs were me, Zongyi and Xue Yong. The variety wasn't that large, but for $20 it wasn't bad. The unusual foods were garlic bread [ ??? ] and stingray. HAHA! No offence but I think the 4F one was more delicious. =DDD
What's with Zongyi's look lah ..
OMG! The cat is looking for free food! Boon Tat soft-hearted.
oH?! no one interested in Mahjong? rare sight ...
hahaha ! how can have nobody de ? Mahjong's so addictive.
Everyone rented a bicycle for night cycling later at midnight. All the way to Changi Beach. I guess the organizers really planned this chalet well. LOL! In the meantime, let's BBQ some more !
" err .. wad I do now ? "
I does not play Mahjong, so I played chess! =)
This is the classic look of surprised people caught by the paparazzi.
Victory | | =.= V
One day, Mahjong will be a multicultural activity. ha ha ha !
Basically, thats how the hours went by since dusk. Mahjong ... pengkang ... TV ... cards ... chat ... Mahjong ... pengkang ... TV ... cards... chat ... Mahjong ... ... Then me and Helmi went to White Sands to check about the PSP TV cable. Long story short, it's the television's fault for having only yellow, red and white outputs. Can you imagine how many movie hours are wasted just like that? 0.0 But we still get to see VINCENT AOW! on his last day at Sakae Sushi =DD
Everyone's quite happy with the Chalet.. so far. And next on the list was night cycling with the class. In the end, myself, Tin Fang and Jonathan stayed back to look after the chalet. So for more stories of this chalet , visit this blog ---> here .Thanks to Helmi and Shafiq for praying the safety of everyone.
whee ~
So they cycled to Changi Beach. Big deal! Jonathan fetched me and tinfang there with his lorry to meet up with them. YAY! Over there...
On the way to rest up at the coffee shop nearby.
Yep! You can sense the tireness in almost everyone. Night cycling at 2 AM in the morning, who wouldn't feel beat? .. .... ... .. Answer : Tin Fang , Jonathan and me. LOL!

I guess this stall was still open just for night cyclists that eventually end up and Changi Beach.

ok maybe he's tired.
Poser cat.
HAHA Everyone was too tired to cycle back, except Helmi, Shafiq, Gilchrist and Michael, the rest of us hitched a ride in the lorry. NOTE : IF ANY OFFICERS ARE READING THIS BLOG WE MAY BE IN TROUBLE FOR PUTTING PEOPLE IN THE CARGO AREA.
And the worst of our imagination came alive. Spotting some blue + red lights far ahead, we were scared stiff when we saw the police setting up roadblocks at the other side of the road. SUPER HENG. If you were the police would you stop this driver ?!
But let us all put that behind us... since it's already over. HAHA! Safe and sound back at the chalet, we all do what we did best... slack! And if you didn't think it was possible, we slacked all the way til Day 2 in the morning.Holidays are at the same category as drugs. We even watched 早 安 您 好 featuring elderly reliving their glory days. THAT'S.... the definition of lame. While the others were away, me and Alex went exploring the area.. psssh! at DAY 2!! We went to visit the guys taking a morning swim.I don't think they even hired a lifeguard at all lah... ITS SO OBVIOUS!
Not bad right? .. the pool. But I didn't bring my swimming gear. =(
We even found a amusment maze.. or a-maze-ment, nearby.Hey! I can still fit through.
OMG! my soles so black.
There should be like 5 times more balls than thisThe rules and regulations board says the place is for "for kids age 6-12".
Table soccer ? let's just stick to the real thing til we get old. And the exchange machine is spoilt lah. Wads the point of the arcade. LOL!I'm definitely going to do foot reflexology in the morning. I feel healthier already!Eh.. 1 round not easy ok?
Identify which spots affect which part of your body.. IT'S INCREDIBLE! Click the pictures to enlarge. The morning view of the beach was quite pleasant... but not the waters. I guess that's the only aspect tourism attraction can never improve on.♪ "To the left.. to the left ~ " ♪
Those who still think I haven't put on weight look carefully.
Does this mean the sea overflooded the drainage pipes? HAHAHA!
After all that morning works, I went home. 1st to TPJC to pass the ball to Ken. There I met Heok Tao. HAHAHA.. seems like his class was quite nice.Bus-Eye View.. guess where this place is.
Then, home. To prepare for Chanbara later. Ironically I overslept through the evening, so I went back to the chalet instead.Apparently, I was at the sunset of their 2nd BBQ. Most of the "usually- 华 语 -speaking guys didn't turn up after leaving in the morning. O-well.. But Michael cut the apples really nicely, that's a plus.is that alcohol at the far left ?! haha... can't even taste the alcohol lor.. waste
And guess what we did for the night... CLEANING UP! If anyone ever marries one of the girls from my class, count yourself lucky for having a cleanliness-conscientious spouse. Great job on the clean-up. But... sad I didn't take the pictures =((Then.. all of us went to monopoly-ing.Negotiations in order
Relax Helmi, it's not real money.
Basically, Helmi owned the board too much until everyone ganged up against him... and still lose. HAHA! Monopoly makes people angry. Hmmm..This guy was camouflaging so well that I didn't notice the football hit him. HAHA. Anyone wan to kiss it?
By night, we went nightwalk. What for lah... ? We just walked up to the end and back and guess where we ended up? at Downtown East's Mcdonald's.No pictures on Day 3. Basically we all (maybe only me) woke up at 12 PM after a night's rest and waited for Radzif's dad to officially close the chalet. Oh yah.. and we played that stupid game. HAHA! one day I'll teach you all. Thanks Shafiq. =DDAll in all a fun chalet, although we weren't recreational enough as a group. Maybe I'll challenge myself not to go home during chalets after this. So on this final note.-THANK YOU Radzif for sparking and planning the chalet.-THANK YOU Hui Shan for being the boss... and for the fruit punch.-THANK YOU Tin Fang for your lorry + Mahjong table-THANK YOU Shafiq, Helmi and Gilchrist for every laughs-THANK YOU Xue Yong for the Mahjong tiles
-THANK YOU to everyone who turned up
and lastly.... a BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU to...
Mr. Jonathan Leong !! For all that fetching and troublesome demands but you still accepted it all like a gentleman. And for the breakfast for 2 days (along with Radzif) for everyone. I'll definitely repay you de. He doesn't look like it.. but he's a year older than the 1990-babies.For another account of the chalet, visit Hui Shan's blog here for covering the holes I've missed on the storyboard. Her blog is very nice =)
Oh yah... how come no group photos arh? hahaha~
Lastly, for now.. it's Goodbye and SOUL'd OUT!
