Kon Ban Wa! W.Y.K Desu.. ~
December 14th 2007. Probably the last outing of 4F this year. It's been more than 10 months since we left each other onto our own routes. It's been 5 days since I started this post. It came so late cos' Blogger wouldn't upload the pictures.. and I got lazy.. HAHA! Sorry. And YES! It's your lucky day to see Yu Ker wearing a headband. It's not everyday you get the chance...
Morning was lessons as usual with Workshop Practice . Then I dozed off during the lectures. But I still get most of the main points right.
Rushed home via MRT while trying to get the venue and time messaged to everyone. Then at around 1.30 p.m, Jenny was online. And we both decided to meet at Parkway Parade at 3.00 p.m. Prayed to God on the way to praise us with a fine weather. Took the 1st picture of the day with Jenny 'floating' up the escalator.
HAHA.
Supposedly wanted to get some speakers. But the electronics departments don't have any compaitable with mp3 players. O well ... Head over to Giant to get some tidbits.
Halfway through the supermarket, Jenny felt really giddy all of a sudden. I really dont' know what to do if she'd fainted ... hontoni ! But like her outlook, she remained quite strong with carry on with the day ahead.
After that, we cabbed to the McDonald's outlet at East Coast, withdrew some money and went on. But the crappy thing is ... OUR PIT IS AT PIT 15! AND WE'RE AT PIT 27 OR SOMETHING. So we walked walked walked to pit 15 only to see the delivery man there with our stuff that I ordered days ago.
So it was just Jenny and me, 4.pm in the afternoon with dark clouds above us telling us to shoo ~! So... surrounded with the cold, raw food that we ordered (except for the already cooked Otah), we began our hours-long wait for the rest. But I guess I'm partly to blamed for my poor estimation of time. And even though I tried to 'cheer' her up, she looked like "Why am I with this boring lamer ??". To be honest, if there ever were a moment where i felt like leaving for home after going through some serious tons of effort, probably 4.27 p.m was that moment. I guess sometimes, peanut doesn't really go well with butter. But religion-wise, I still believed in the prayer I made earlier.
And it did hapened ! Inevitable rain sudden just swept past us leaving only very slight drizzle as traces. So we endlessly chat to kill time although she was doing most of the talking. Then from behind, Wee Loon appeared just like that almost like an Angel. HAHA, that definitely lifted our spirits. Ryan and Nicole appeared at the background too. Time to get the BBQ officially SUTARTAE -- ED! Ryan and I started the fire while the rest got the frozen food out to defrost.

And yes, that's me wearing a headband. The charcoal wasn't really of a user friendly fuel. The fire went out most of the time due to the wind and fire starters were using up ! Managed to get a few satays ready while Joanna, Geraldine(s) , Yee Pei and Kian Lun arrived. YAY! more people.
6.00p.m and still not many of the 4F to be seen. Also was sad to be reminded that many could not turn up at all. Hmmm..
Skewers on the chicken wings

Jenny look a little bit too serious . . . =O
Next, we saw Kris walking towards the pit. =DDD. Our Lucky star with more fire starters and master chef. Evening was setting and all of us have a nice chat by the fires. Another familiar face, Vincent appeared too! LOL cool ~. Sorry I didn't answer your calls. Kudos to Ryan, Kris and Vincent for the BBQ-ing and keeping the fire alive. Next... we realised pit 15 is around 600m away from the nearest restroom. =O
HAHA! I've learnt some physic powers
Suddenly, all boring atmosphere dissipated into the thin air ..." Fwwaaaa ~". The last of the guests were Sharol, Jy2, Tedja, Norwin and Sebastian and all of us enjoyed the potato salad with bacon bits =). Wee Loon took some pictures without flash on! So the end product seemed quite dim... but haha, he really has a nice perspective for photography.

Errr... ?
Me and Sebastian !
Vincent ? LOL !

Sebastian looks like hes looking at the satay ... ~
Me + Kris !!! =OOO SHAROL HAD INTERNET ACCESS IN EAST COAST PARK!!!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? CAN TELL ME ?? HAHAHA. Then , everyone went friendster/blog hopping.Finally.... Some group photos to have fun with.

See... Everyone can look so nice when they pose. :)
Face off ! Round 1 .... (pictures courtesy of C. Wee Loon a.k.a Starzdrops.) Look carefully at the back! =O
Then... It's more group photos again! This time .. with mina - san ~ (everyone)
LOL... there's a story behind this picture... but I think it's better for all of you to guess what it is ...

Aww... best friends.
According to astronomy forecasts on that day, shooting stars can be seen at night from Singapore's view. But I guess they can't be seen from here at East Coast Park. But maybe Xiang Rong at Pulau Ubin did ? o.O"
Haiz...so many people couldn't stay overnight. O well... at least there are cards. Now that I think back, playing card games with Guo Lin, Sebastian, Norwin, Zhi Heng and Vincent somehow trained me in some ways. HAHA! Miss those years.
14 December was fun... really fun. Now that I think back on those days, it's kinda hard to imagine 2 years went past just like that. But then again there's always the future to look forward to right? For me, every second spent at pit 15 of East Coast Park was well-spent.
Lastly... I want to thank this very special person that has been always there at every outing and every gathering of 4F over the months.

(
huh? me ? watashiwa ?)
LOL... yes you. If it hadn't been for her, I probably don't know how to start planning the BBQ and cancelled it. Thank you for your patience and time. Best wishes and special thanks to Miss Jenny Toh. Treat you to dinner next time ok? HAHAHAHA!!
Saving the best for last?
HAHA... don't know why they did this. At least they aren't camera shy anymore. =)
Want to take a seat with me ?
Lastly ... THANK YOU to everyone who turned up and made this December's BBQ a great night to remember. Hopefully there are more gatherings like these to come in the near future and before us guys enroll into NS and more of the rest turning up! Merry Christmas for the next 6 days. Take care!
Before ending. Let us wish Sherlee all the best with her new family.
And so for now ... It's Goodbye and SOUL'd OUT! ( aaah! finally finished )
