[ Lessons ]

Friday is always a day many people look forward too . Why ? Because they get to sleep late legally and Saturday is just around the corner. This week has been a roller-coaster of events around the world. Well , not like every week doesn't have its own roller coaster .

Today was a session of presentations from the groups of my class . Both presented their topics very well especially Group 2. Their fluency and preparation was phenomenal ! WOW ... Wonder if my group can fare well , especially if the class starts firing their jiao questions during Q&A . Its a section for marking you know ... so troublesome.

Weekends should be enjoyed , well-resting and relaxed . But seems like I have to hit the books one more time.

Been awhile since I played some street football ... and even longer with football on the pitch . But its most likely it will be almost forever to find time for 22 people to stand on the same grass . Hmm .. anyone up for a suntan ? My skin is getting kind of pale .

One day ... I'd like to visit Milan ... Do you ?

[ But These Things Are Only If ... ]

Today is the last test day of the schedule , Electronics . Ifthe thermofluids test turns out the way I want , I'd say I'd did relatively well for this term . Hope this encourages me in the next .

The test was a breeze , didn't know why I stared into space after finishing the paper .

Do you know Chinese ? Do you like Chinese ? We get the impression that we can venture further into foreign markets if we learn other languages like French , Russian or even English . These days seems like its vice versa from their point of view . But ... Its kinda sad if we can't even speak or write quality Chinese . (At least for me) . Of course , I'm not anywhere in the right to judge .

I wonder hows everybody doing right now . I meet up with former schoolmates almost everyday so I feel kinda erm ...' away ' if I step out of this kind of a circle . But a thing like eternity doesn't exist , maybe my mind and mentality doesn't suit my age . Somehow , til' now , I'm still contradicting myself.

Jenny asks for Sakae Sushi meal receipts ! If anyone sees this please spread the message to all your family and friends and pass the receipts to her ! HAHA , hope she gets enough receipts .

[ It's When You Know You Say Thank You . But You Didn't ... ]

Greetings ! W.Y.K as usual ( actually who else can it be ? ) blogging on a Monday night ! Today marks the 1st day of school reopens for almost everyone . How's everyone doing ? So far heard that Jy2 has no lessons so he online-gamed the day , i think . Ryan just went to take his test and went home after that ... But I had to attend lessons as usual !! From 8 a.m to 5 p.m =O . Feels like going to work lor ... HAHA .

Actually , the lessons and lectures don't really seem as sian as dey appear . Mr Anthony , a lecturer of mine , made me look at him with more , erm ... how would you put it ? More light ? HAHA , think you get my drift bah .. He got reminded of his time in Manchester when the winds blew in the afternoon . He'd followed the enthusiastic crowd to Old Trafford to watch the likes of Gary Pallister , Eric Cantona and Ryan Giggs play , during 1991 ( or was it 92 ? ) . Wow! Wonder if he took a picture with them . Nah , he isnt like the old slouchy typical ah pek , but he looked like he's nearing his 40s .

Then came the lectures on Mechanics ... erm ... Physics involving forces , frictions , moments and all that . Everything was going as per normal until ... it BLACKOUT ! HAHA . Everyone was trying to clown the whole scene there and best still , the lecturer continued writing all the steps on the board and everyone was like " WTH ! Cannot see larh !! " LOL . Of course , Hardly of them were interested anyways.

Then the finale , TEST on Thermofluids ! Right on the 1st day of school repoening ! SIAN ... nah , it was just 3 questions and most of us did it in like what ... 20 mins ? When the duration was 1 hr . So I officially ended lesson hours at 4 p.m and went over to Jonanthan's .

Wei Lun and Ryan were there already , preparing for their 9Dragons and DotA adventures . I played Fifa 07 . Just learnt how to score directly from corner kicks , literally directly ! HAHA , of course it wasn't perfect . Hmm .. Really can't wait for Fifa 08 . EA Sports announced that the release would be also for PS2 too ! HAHA , don't have to buy a PS3 to continue Fifa-ing .

Home and played a couple of rounds of DotA , lols . Read Jenny's blogs ... and Sharol's too ! AAAH ~ makes me feel like visiting Japan too . But for now , can only rely on books and Sharol's blog . hehe ...

A couple of days ago , there was a short training and briefing for the leaders of the Secondary 1 Camp. Really cool to see Feng Yao and Edwin in the leaders roster . Wonder when was the last time we were together again ... Edwin finally passed Yanzi's poster to me ! haha .. She's so pretty !!~~ . Edwin is a really funny and cool guy , but sometimes he can get carried away with singing Avril Lavigne songs . Lols . He was looking through my phone til ... OOPS ! Edwin found more pictures . HAHA . Sorry they came so late =P .

[ Yu Ker ]

Arlo !!

To start off today , let's close our eyes ( read finish 1st then close .. LOL ) , wish a happy and meaningful wish .. and entitle it to MISS HAM JIA YUN !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JIA YUN !! HAHA !!

Read that title head up there ? It's my name , so this post will be pretty much about me . But ... what about me ? haha , the following will be sprinked with dust of lamerlogy so prepare to hear crows flying above your head .

Today , W.Y.K is going to expose his top tens ! WOW , bet y'all are getting excited ... This time , it will be the top ten items/habits to last the 24 hours ...

1) [ The Handphone ]

Nah... it won't be lame things like open your eyes or brush your teeth. Much like myself using less than 300 sms-es per month , I'd keep a regular check on my handphone . Chided countless times for not answering calls or sms-es as I was somewhere else while it's vibrating. So since last year , I'd try my best to keep this beauty close to me.

2) [ My Daily Dose of Yanzi !! ]

Singapore's Songbird , Mandopop Sensation , Queen of the Awards , Love Drunkard , Heavenly Princess , Ah Zi .... and the list goes on ! She even had a new species of Orchid named after her , isn't she wonderful ? Nothing can be done to cover up my love for her and her sweet SWEET voice . That's right ... Yu Ker does not start the day without listening a couple of songs from Yanzi =D . Wonder where she lived before she went over to Taiwan , hmmm. One day , I will try my best to meet her in person. Can you believe she's only 1.62m ?!

3 ) [ The NewPaper ]

Well .. I often find them lying around during weekends ( and Fridays ) so... why not ? HAHA . But most likely I'd read the papers from the back to the front , I guess many of you should know why . But so far , I'm just looking at the stupidy level of the writers who think that they really understand the lives of the real people involved and superimpose their opinons. LOL .

4 ) [ 60 push ups , 60 sit ups ]

The long holidays made me realise I'm putting up the pounds . So this is my resolution for keeping in shape . Target weight : not exceeding 59 kg . Looking at Ken's lean and mean figure made me ashamed of myself . HAHA. Have y'all heard of the Korean babe Hyori Lee ? She won the hottest body award in Korea ! What an inspiration .

5 ) [ My PSP ]

Game console , music player , video player , thumbdrive substitute ? This 170mm x 74mm x 23mm , 260 g piece of beauty have served me well up til now . Inside the 4GB memory host a good deal of Yanzi and SOUL'd OUT discography , of course there are other songs and stuffs too . Haha . Look closely at the screen at you'll see me taking a picture of it . I borrowed the earpieces from a good friend of mine , Jonathan , when mine got spoilt . Thanks Jon !

6 ) [ Water , The Best Drink Ever ]

I'd drown myself with cups of water at times . This is a very healthy practice and is recommended to everyone . =DD

7 ) [ Money !! $$$ ]

That's right ! A big necessity especially in the era of shopping and fine dining . Men can't be trusted but money can ! ( HAHA don't know where I got that from ) Don't worry , W.Y.K is a thrifty person when it comes to finance management.

8 ) [ Scent / Aroma ]

Deodorant / spray for males , perfume for females . Don't hesitate to spray some of those scented water on yourself to feel good throughout the day . OK .. It's not like I'm using Hugo Boss or something like that but I like this flask.

9 ) [ Anime Anime and More Anime !! ]

Perhaps one of the best intrusions of my life . Anime speaks of the fantasy world that we all wish we would live in . My preferred genres are Humor , Action and Romance .

What real life is unable to achieve , the artists put the pencils to the test . So far , the recent anime releases aren't a disappointment at all . Myself , I recommend Samurai X ( OVA ) and Samurai Champloo . Its not as stupid as watching cartoons . Anime is generally rated above 13 and the nicer ones above 16 . The storyline of many anime series are seriously better than the 7 p.m shows you catch every night . To search for an anime , visit http://www.tv-links.co.uk/index.do/3 . 10 ) [ Yourself ]

The last important ingredient of being yourself is ... yourself ! HAHA . Every person makes an impact in someone's life , no matter how big or how small . You have made an impact on everyone's life that you've known til today , so you are ... special . So to all my friends who are reading this post ( and hopefully tagging the cbox ) , thank you very much for giving me a chance to know you . =))

[That Chalet]

Hey ! W.Y.K hosting the show here ... Went to another chalet after the previous one... haha .. so tiring ! Ken organised the chalet this time round , at Downtown East .

Jenny joined us again !!!! YAY! haha... so cool to see her in so many outfits in so many days. Think Xiang Rong's recuperating at home =/ .

By the time we got there , familiar faces flooded the scene . From friends I met at the street soccer court to classmates like Norwin and Tedja. The food there was superb ! LOLs . Fikri's mother did a wonderful job with the BeeHoon ... wonder why the people there ended up staring and fanning the barbeque pit instead . The syrup drink was mixed to perfection , courtesy of KenK³ . LOLS. Seemed like Glenn and SzeHui were in charge of the games . But the PS2 was too drained to work perfectly , haha ... owell .

Campus Superstar ! The show lit up the room the moment the television was switched to Channel U. Someone was already singing Yanzi 's " Honey Honey " . AAH ~ The song is so lovey-dovey , but I believe Yanzi is the only person to hit 100% of the feel of the song . =P .. Yes ! I admit I'm biased ~ . HAHA . Then moments later ... another contestant starts to sing Yanzi's Ni Guang ! HAHA . Did they really think its so simple to sing her songs well in a competition ? Ok larh ... the contestent had quite a sweet smile and had her variation to the tune , but considering its kinda of an emo song , these may be factors that contradict her performance . Hohoho , I'm sidetracking quite abit .

Then we started watching 200 Pounds of Beauty the movie. Missed the starting plot of the show but could roughly guess what it was when I came in later . The beautiful lady in the show then introduced herself as ... JENNY! haha and the real Jenny (Toh) melted at the bed she's lying on . There're a couple of cool songs in the movie , anyone has em ? lols . Didn't really remember the ending . Ok ... it was 2 a.m by the time the girls decided to head home while the rest headed for the MacDonalds' nearby but i guess this about covers up the highlight of the night .

Oh yah ... Thank heavens it didn't rained because it was pouring during mid-day.

[ This Chalet ]

14 , 15 , 16 of June were the the 3 days of the much awaited chalet. All I can say is ... SHUAI! The chalet was fantastically sweet. Think this post will take up 75% of the space in this page , or more ! HAHA! at least the pictures are here ... Since a picture shows a thousand words , this post will be like reading a book eh ? LOL . OK here goes the story.

Day 1 : Cabbed to Ryan's to meet up with him and Jy2. Got all the eqiupment ready and a soccer ball. But Jy2 forgotten his Chalet receipt ! OMG ... cabbed back to Jy2's and waited for him , could have saved $4.30 if he had brought it in the 1st place.
See .. Ryan is feeling very sian but he's putting on a smile.

TSK! where's Jy2 ?? I'm about to doze off ! lols

There he is ! LOL running like the wind .

And so Ryan and Jy2 called Jenny , Yi Yong and XR , who were already there at White Sands.

Long story short , the trio went to open up the chalet first , while this trio stayed back to await for the Geraldines. They came with plastic bags full of chips and stuff. Look ! there's Mother Geraldine at the centre ! haha , nah ... she just looks like one.

Is there mist behind this bus ?! Guess the number at the placard stickered there ..

Our dinner at the 1st night almost became a real questionare .. til the girls finally decided to start BBQ-ing the delivered food considering the few people that turned up. THANKS MR TAN ! ( XR's dad ) . He personally came down to deliver the stuffs , isn't he great ? LOL. I went on an eating spree and forgot to take some pictures . SORRY ! haha ... The hands of the girls were starting to itch real badly until ... NORWIN CAME! Sporting a red adidas and a briefcase that almost everyone there thought was gold ... and they still thought it was gold after Jenny opened it . It was a set of Mahjong tiles.

Mr Mahjong ( the most prominent guy there ) starting to build an unassailable winning streak.

Look how gleeful he is after winning 1 round ..... and losing 4 ! HAHA ( ok that was all made up ) =P

Is this what many people call " cam-whoring " eeew ! sounds uncivillised . I'd prefer to call it " take pictures "

Sun Zi said " Know thy enemy , know thyself and you will win a hundred battles " Looks like Norwin is knowing thyself will LOSE! haha. What is Ryan pointing to ?

Around 2 a.m in the midnight and everyone ran out of ideas of what to do next. Seemed like fatigue starts to wear its ugly head while Norwin ( below ) starts to ride the MRT to dreamland.

Day 2 : OK! ... so W.Y.K couldn't hold on at the 1st night as he slept immediately after the 4 went back to more Mahjong. Ryan really stayed up the whole night and kept thinking of what to do at the next minute. In the morining , Norwin had to head back to MJC while Ryan and I decided to head home to get some rest . Greeted by the rain when we arrived at the bus stop. Here , Ryan is seen peering for a bus.

Mid-day was really boring , so there weren't any pictures taken . Took a short nap at home while thinking how it was going back at the chalet. Met up with Ryan again at around 3.30 at Aljunied MRT. Bumped into several current MJR students on the train. Feels kinda wierd when you know you've once shared a past with them and when you see them now , you don't know if you should even say hi to them. Greeted by Wee Loon when we returned to the chalet.

By 5 p.m the BBQ started , Wee Loon and I went to Pasir Ris MRT to pick up Kaising and Pamela. It was really nice of them to turn up. Then headed to Fairprice to stock up on drinks. Kris did a wonderful job being the chef , and so did Jenny , Geraldine(s) and Wee Loon ! HAHA . By nightfall , Heok Tao and Sebastian came over to join us. The BBQ-ing continued to around 10 p.m ( was it ? ) and the real guests of the night finally came ! Mdm Tay and Mr Gui ! Our beloved teachers. HAHA.

There aren't any notes this time ! HAHA

Mdm Tay , My form teacher and Chemistry teacher. Sorry I didn't did as well as you hoped during the O' Levels. If I could go back in time and had to choose another form teacher all over again , I'd name you , definitely. All the best to you and the new life in you.

Hey yo ! Mr Sebastian Koh , One of my buddies since 2004. Thanks for always being a good listening ear whenever I needed one and probably you don't know what I'm saying sometimes . Seems like different choices after we graduated pulled us even further apart. Hope and wish JC lifestyle will be a breeze for you . Looking forward to when you rebond your hair ? haha ...

Miss Geraldine Lau , unpredictable nature of appearance as always . Being sweet and nice at one minute and wild and funny at another. Beautiful voice too ! haha , looks like I just took a picture with a star . Hope Law and Management will become one of the best choice in your life.

Ryan Lim ! So lame , I put 2 and u put 0 .. HAHA .. been dota-ing with Jon , you , Jy2 , and Wei Lun since last year. Trashing Bnet noobies and you're one of the craziest players I've met. Hope you will finally find the hairstyle you want and excel in everything you do.

You must be scrolling down frantically and keep thinking .. " EH ! EH ! WHERE'S MY PICTURE ?! " right ? haha . Low Heok Tao , part time Mediacorp actor and my good friend . HAHA. He's also a huge fan of Linkin' Park , alongside Navjoth. All the best to you in the O' Level's this time round.

Mr Gui Eng Hong , my Physics teacher and husband of my Chemistry teacher Mdm Tay. Very knowledgeable and his insights are never a moment to miss. Similarly , I'd wouldn't pick another teacher to teach me Physics. Looking forward to the day he becomes a father ! HAHA !

3rd Day : Alex and I started the day off while the rest were still deep in sleep. Cleaned up most of the stuffs like unused cups , plastic utensils , otah leaves -.- .. and leftover food. I couldn't muster anymore energy so I went up to sleep in the bedroom. Woke up to see everyone else already up and about and I'm like the blur-est guy there. Everything was approaching the sunset except the sunrise , officially checked out at 11 a.m ( I think ) and that was the end of the chalet. Awaited for the shuttle bus to bring us back to White Sands .. waiting ~ ... waiting ~ ... waiting ... ~

Well ... this is the last of it ! HAHA ... thats Jenny. She's always like a big sister to me , always the postitve person to turn to. She has so many good traits that its perfectly understandable why Yi Yong loves her. Seriously , a book isn't enough to describe this wonderful woman.

Out of the 27 that was estimated , around 15 - 17 turned up for the chalet . Well , I'm not their mind , I can't dictate what they do ... But maybe I'll say something in fairness... Will you rather part with $16 or see a friend of yours part with more than $200 out of his pocket ? How would you know that we are not fun and united until you've tried it yourself ? If more than 2 years of friendship is so fragile in the face of opinions and money ... then I guess hyprocisy has just been taken to the next level. I guess from here , I owe Junyong an apology . Sorry for trusting too much that the class would turn up , maybe I'll pay you back slowly to cover up the loss. O well ... guess these people will find better "friends" in their Polytechnics/Colleages.
